Evidence 1: digital video (healthy habits)


This evidence consists of creating a digital video that allows students to learn about a topic either to introduce it or to appropriate it.  In this case, this video is the identification of the main healthy habits and the function that is taken into account to achieve a correct health.

This video will be used in the second year of elementary school and we have chosen the fifeld of physical education.

Nowadays it is very important to discuss with children the importance of health to make them aware of the care that has to be taken with our body throughout life.

Within the theme of health, there are different ways to choose one but we have wanted to make use of healthy habits.
Exactly, the video takes into account the exercise and his function when we do it, hygiene and his importance, the posture of our body to reduce various diseases and rest to be able to have a good health. Moreover, to complete a good healthy habits we talk about the diet.

The types of this video are: process modelers, didactic/educational videos, monoconceptual video and video lessons and motivational lessons.

  • Process modelers - are didactic audovisual productions that show a process, with the intention of being easily learned or repeated.
  • Didactic/Educational videos - are audiovisual productions made for the purpose of being used for learning.
  • Monoconceptual videos - are short didactic audiovisual productions that explain a concept or process, with the intention of being understood.
  • Video lessons - are didactic audiovisual productions that explain a topic by developing all its sections in a systematic way.
  • Motivational lessons - are audiovisual productions that mainly aim to impact, capture attention and arouse interest in a specific topic.

-Point 3.1. is a basic indicator which is based on uses digital technologies to communicate with the students and to coordinate with other teachers.
-Point 3.2 is an intermediate indicator which is based on collaborates actively in educational networks in digital environments
-Point 3.3. is a basic indicator which is based on uses resources and digital media to work collaboratively with students and teachers.


Moreover, the information and communications technology (ICT) is the most important resource to realize the video and to share this knowlegde. The ICT uses to communicate with students or whoever. In this case, we use the ICT throught a video to explain point by point the main important contents that the healthy habits have.
To create the video we have used the videoscribe because it is the application which can see the clearest and most dynamic explanation since it seems a human who explains it because a hand appears and in the background our voice to guide the students.



To sum up, I consider that there is a great variety of digital resources to foster and teach knowledge that has not yet been explained or has not yet been fully appropriated.  All and these resources, I believe that teaching the video to the students, that we have created which is very visual, with many images, colors, with movement, with little letter is the most relevant information, etc., is the best way for students to create new knowledge and appropriate it.
Personally, I was reminded of my childhood stage because I would have loved to have been given all this theory through a video as creative as this because it's so much easier to understand just by seeing it once.
